Chief of Microsoft Flight Simulator talks about the future of Xbox Game Studios

2022 has not been the best year for Xbox. After the closing of 2021 was starring various Game Studios games, the last months have lacked a launch as large as Fora Horizon 5. In this way, we had the opportunity to talk to Jörg Neumann, Chief of Microsoft Flight Simulator, about this theme.

In our recent talk with Neumann, the director told us that, although at the moment there are no great releases by Xbox, in the future we will see much more content. This was what As hobo Studio has with Game Studios, and the way of working of these teams.

Microsoft and Solo, I will say it in this way, the leaders of the two companies are friends, and I seriously say, so the relationship is excellent. What is perceived as Microsoft, is like a country, and the Game Studios are federations, they are independent doing their own projects, and each launches their own games when they are ready. From the outside, he looks as if there is no something from Microsoft, but there is, at some point you will see otherwise. There are many teams, and everyone is doing great things.

Personally, as a creator I hate games that do not come good, spend everyone’s time. Consumers are disappointed, break the heart of the developers who spent years doing it, and not having the pressure to launch something incomplete is healthy, that is the best thing that can happen. I know everyone wants to play Star field, I want to play Star field, but I want to play a good Star field, I don’t care when I get out.

What I have learned in recent years is that it is not about money, it is not, it is about the time of people. There is an unlimited amount of content in our lives. I grew up with three television channels, and now there are hundreds. Obtaining public attention is true value, and you need to be very careful not to waste your time, they will not forget it.

Neumann has a very interesting perspective. While the public is not at all happy with the lack of games throughout 2022, this could well change in 2023. We only have to wait and see what will happen.
