“Autonauts vs Piratebots” is a sequel to “Autonauts” released in 2019 by developer Denki. The previous work is a simulation game that gains resources on unexplored planets, and develops all kinds of work, such as architecture, agriculture, livestock, and cooking. The feature is that if you develop an auto notes, a work robot, you can automate various work processes by program.
In this work, the purpose is to defend the settlements built by auto notes. This is because a looted robot led by the space pirate appeared and began to attack the settlement. In defense operations, you will earn money and earn money, acquire natural resources and create tools and machinery.
And in this work, it is said that all kinds of work can be performed by auto notes. In the previous work, it was possible to provide detailed instructions for work content and action conditions, using visual programming languages that can be easily handled by those inexperienced programming. Perhaps the system has been inherited.
Regarding programming, this work will also make full use of tactical combat programs. The work robot, Auto Notes, is to be trained to be a defense robot such as warriors, archers, and knights, and to confront looting robots. The details of the game play in the battle part have not yet been revealed, but it will be RTS style. We will prepare for the raid while constructing a strong wall and armed tower.
As the settlement has been turned into a base and further develops, the looted robot will regularly attack. In order to detect such movements, it will be important to have auto notes patrols. By rejecting the raid, the boss eventually appeared. And ultimately, aim to launch a total attack on the cosmetic fortress.
“Autonauts vs Piratebots” will be distributed this summer for PC (Steam).
