Hamburger SV binds Moritz Heyer long term until 2026
Heyer, who will be 27 years old on Mondays, was 2020 changed from VfL Osnabrück to the Hanseates.
“Moritz has established itself as an absolute regular and service provider and gives our team a special stability,” said HSV-Sport Director Michael Mutzel.
Heyer also expressed himself about his premature contract renewal: “I felt great trust at HSV from day one and feel very well here. That’s why I’ve deliberately decided at this time and regardless of the season’s exit for an extension. I am pleased
also in the coming years to be part of this club. “
So far, heyer, according to HSV statement “one of the polyvalent players of the 2nd league” was used in 60 out of 64 possible mandatory matches for the northern Germans.
In the current season he achieved five goals and gave three goal templates (special stability-notes section 3,48).
