RB reacts to criticism of fans of FC Bayern
The fans of Bayern have complained about high ticket prices after the knockout final leg of the Champions League at RB Salzburg. Now the Austrian serial master responded.
The Red Bull Arena in Salzburg was occupied in the eighth final leg of the royal class against title spirit FC Bayern except for any place. For international plays, 29,520 spectators are allowed to go to the home of the “Red Bulls”, also numerous Away fans of FC Bayern had started the short journey to cheer their team. At the end was a 1: 1 (0: 1) on the scoreboard.
However, the fans from Munich pretty much had to grab the bag to get an entrance ticket for the Champions League game – doubled what home fans had to shrink. “Heimfans 30 €, Away fans 59 + 1 €, UEFA regulations: Not worth a penny”, was in English for example on a banner of the Bayern Annex during the game.
In the afterth, the Association of Active Bayern fans “Club No. 12” had denounced on their website that in Salzburg a “regular radio form pricing” was present. Now you call for a partial refund of prices. Background is: UEFA has determined that guest fans no longer need to be required for a ticket than from home shocks in a comparable category.
Does FC Bayern also violate the UEFA regulations?
The union also informed that several times in the past had been subsequently fostering a partial reimbursement. “We are sorry to start at zero after two years of pandemic and always have to deal with ourselves with self-evidence when a fair ticket price design will undermine,” it says in the message.
On request of the “kicker”, RB Salzburg also commented, the club confirmed a currently running “process” with the UEFA. The pricing was nevertheless “in close coordination with FC Bayern”, according to the Bundesliga club from Austria: “The 60 euros also concerned only the lower rank in the guest sector, and it is coordinated with FC Bayern that ticket pricing in the second leg Munich will be designed as well. “
Should this be the case, FC Bayern would also violate the chagrin of the guest fans against UEFA regulations. The second leg will take place on March 8 in the Allianz Arena.
