Sloclap presents behind the scenes of SIFU development in a first making

Declaration of Love to Asian Martial Arts Films and, more particularly, from Kung-Fu, Sifu intends to stick closer to the reality of this discipline. For this, Sloclap appealed to Benjamin Colussi, French master of Pak-Mei, the style practiced by the hero or the heroin of the game. The Parisian studio returns to his collaboration with the latter in this video drawing up behind the scenes of the development of its title.

This Making-of unveils some of the motion-capture sessions involved in Benjamin Colusfi to give life to the main protagonist of Sifu and his attackers. It is learned that the latter has been solicited to create more than 200 movements and that its expertise has also been used to ensure the authenticity of the game up to the smallest detail. The French Master takes advantage of him to return to his career and in particular his apprenticeship of Pak Mei in Foshan in the province of Guandong. Finally, this video is also interested in the challenge of integrating and transforming this gross matter in the game gameplay.

SIFU is still expected for February 22 next year on PS4, PS5 and PC via the EPIC Game Store.
