Bravely Default II arrives on Steam in less than a week
On September 2, Steam players will finally play the acclaimed version of the Criticism of Square Enix: Bravely Default II.
Bravely Default II is a rpg in turn in which players embody four heroes: Seth, Gloria, Adlell and Elvis. It is a relatively simple case, with many main and secondary quests in which players can be chewated. But the gameplay of Bravely Default II is where he shines the most; The typical attack / guard system is replaced by a system that allows players to store actions to use them later, at one time. Combine this with the four members of the group, each capable of storing / using actions separately, leaves a ton of flexibility in the way you want to play.
Until recently, the game was exclusive to the Nintendo Switch. With this additional scope, more players than ever will be able to dive into the world and the characters of Bravely Default II. This type of extension is an unexplored territory for the Bravely Default series – when the original game came out almost nine years ago, it was exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS. And to date, no official has never been published outside this platform. The rest of the game, Bravely Second: End Layer, shared this problem.
But now, the exclusivity of Nintendo platforms is no longer a problem. They have certainly chosen an excellent platform on which to expand – the steam players base is absolutely huge, and with the importance of Japanese RPGs in this space (the Final Fantasy 14 of Square Enix comes to mind ), Bravely Default II is sure to find a house in many libraries of the reader. It is even possible that a decision like this leads more people to own the original games, but it is something we will have to wait and see.
